For a while now, there have been ground-breakings for one fugly "luxury" high-rise after another in the area. The current world-wide fiscal heart-attack will likely kill off any more such develpoment, but enough damage has been done.<BR/><BR/>Your photos certainly illuminate a bit of industrial history for me, as well as make me wish your written pipe-dreams could come to fruition there (or here, for that matter...people are <I>much</I> too addicted to "bigness", seemingly for its own sake).
